OBJECTS, FURNITURE AND PATTERNS AT ART SINCE THE SUMMER OF '69

Please join us at the opening of Objects, Furniture and Patterns this upcoming Thursday.

Opening reception on Thursday December 10, 6-9 p.m.

Art Since the Summer of ’69 is very happy to present Objects, Furniture & Patterns, an exhibition of objects, furniture and patterns.

For the show, the gallery has been transformed into a living room, with chairs, tables, lamps, wallpaper, curtains, objects, and art on the walls, all made by artists, including lamps by Stéphane Barbier-Bouvet, a mirror by Eva Berendes, curtains by Josh Blackwell, a chair by Olaf Breuning, carpet by Marcel Dionne, paintings by Bella Foster, collages and prints by Vidya Gastaldon, a sculpture by Lina Viste Grønli, a table, a chair, cups, saucers and tiles by Mary Heilmann, prints by Pia Howell, a chair by Kiyoshi Kanai, wallpaper, cups and a sculpture by Steve Keister, a vase by Shio Kusaka, shelves and a chair by Takeshi Miyakawa, a photograph by Laurie Simmons, posters by Max Pitegoff & Travess Smalley, a drawing and a book by Derek Sullivan, a video by John Tremblay, sculptures by Ola Vasiljeva, sculptures by Harm Van Den Dorpel and wallpaper and a clock by Amy Yao.

Project Space: Ooga Booga
For the duration of Objects, Furniture and Patterns, our project space will be occupied by the Ooga Booga store from Los Angeles. Ooga Booga's project will be a coat hanging on our coat rack, with items from the store inside.

ART OF THE DAY: NATHALIA DJURBERG GETS INVOLVED IN THE TIGER WOODS INCIDENT(S)

IT'S SNOWBALL THE FAT HEDGEHOG!

Snowball the overweight albino hedgehog is making the rounds in the UK media; BBC is even featuring him on TV! Snowball is now in the hospital, where he's on a special exercise plan. Make sure to take a look in the background during the interview with Les Stocker the veterinarian; even Snowball's x-rays are cute! To watch the video, go here.

MY FAVORITE MUSIC OF THE DAY: BANGS, TAKE U TO DA MOVIES

Wow! This is what and whom Youtube was made for, no question about it. Visit Bang's website, or his Youtube site with other soon-to-be-hits, such as Never Call U Bitch Again, My Hotel, I Don't Need a Girlfriend, and My Life is Hard. From Bang's bio: “Music is my wife”, Bangs sang in a live jam recently. He writes about life, love and hope and his music grows with him till the end of life".
